Overview: At The Vail Church, we are building authentic community, growing closer to Jesus, and living on mission together. Group Leaders are essential to cultivate community that is not only welcoming and encouraging to all, but also edifying and maturing to God’s Church. The expectations for Group Leaders are high, as we are exampling the character of Jesus and leading others to follow Him in a close-knit, intimate setting. If you desire to help lead the culture of The Vail Church, please apply below.

Training will be provided before anyone steps into a Leadership role.

Leadership Investment Culture: If you commit to leadership of a Group, our team is committed to investing in you so that you can continue to grow in your leadership skills. Leaders will attend quarterly Leader Huddles for continuing investment, encouragement, and opportunities to build community with other leaders as well.

*NOTE* Filling out the application does not guarantee a leadership role. If we believe you are not ready to lead a Group, we still want you to be in a group, and it doesn't mean leadership is not an opportunity in your future.

We understand the Valley features people who are part-time and full-time residents. We are looking for leaders to be committed to at least one of the phases/seasons: Fall, Winter, Summer.

Life Stage

Our Groups are sometimes organized by season of life. We also see benefit of people in a more mature life stage leading someone in a younger life stage as well. Which season of life applies to you? If you don't see it listed, click 'other' and fill in the blank.

If this applies. We will use this info when we consider connecting families with each other. Note: You do not need to fill out if your kids do not live at home i.e. empty nester.
